Hard Seltzer is a new type of beverage from the USA. The term Hard Seltzer translates to: sparkling water with alcohol. The alcohol contained in Sparklys is obtained from the fermentation of sugar. Therefore, our Hard Seltzer is not subject to alcohol law but to food law and thus falls into the same tax category as beer. The drink is enriched with natural flavors, which gives Sparklys its light taste. Hard Seltzer is not comparable to beer, cider, wine, and certainly not to alcopops. It is best imagined as a low-sugar and low-calorie alternative to conventional alcoholic beverages such as beer, cider, alcopops, or wine. And Sparklys?
